What is flow? Flow is the merging of action and awareness, you separate yourself from distractions. Flow is special, it's not being "in the zone." Its different and rare. Flow means a person is fully immersed in the current activity. To experience flow, you must be completely absorbed in what  you're doing. Flow usually happens when you are being active and is less common while inactive. In order to achieve this flow experience you must have clear set goals. You must have immediate feedback. You must also have a good balance between the perceived challenges of the task at hand and your own skills
