Gaby Alvarez: Nature: Nolan Trail

As I sat outside on the bench I observed the anthill below me. I had almost stepped on the hill until one of my classmates pointed it out, realized I almost wiped out this whole colony of ants! I never look impact that my actions have, because of my lack of awareness with nature and its inhabitants I would have killed a colony of ants that never did anything to deserve to die. Sitting there I started to look around to see what other life was around me I saw squirrels in the wood I heard a woodpecker and as I looked at the water I saw ripples. I came to be that although I don't find this trail to be sacred that to others it might be and I should try to respect their sacred place.
