Ashley Bowles- Topic of My Choice #2

This class overall has really opened my eyes to nature and what is out there.  I have learned an enormous amount about the Appalachian Trail and other trails as well.  It never occurred to me before this class that people would actually go out and live on the trail for months.  After learning just a little about the trail it opened my eyes to how much work has to go in to the hike even before you leave to actually go hiking.  You must know what you are going to need and you have to prepare yourself for the physically demanding work and also mental work.  I am glad I was put in my class because I have certainly learned a lot and it has really opened my eyes to see what is out there.
