I'm not a religious person but sometimes I try to pray in my own way. I think about the person and what struggles they are going through and I will try and send them happy thoughts via my mind . I know it doesn't really work but maybe if I think about them enough and try and send them good juju it will help.
The only time I have ever tried to pray to God is when my best friends sister died. Having your best friend be in so much pain is heartbreaking, I wanted to try and help any way I could so I prayed for her and her sister and nephew. I will never know if it helped or did anything, but I think because she is religious it could have been a push that she needed.
