Drew Carpenter - "C.S. Lewis - The Chronicles of Narnia" (Outside Reading 3)

When I was a child, my father would read me the stories of "The Chronicles of Narnia" before bed. They were my favorite stories, and continue to be some of my favorite to this day. I was always intrigued by the mysteries and journeys the main characters experienced. I always wanted to be just like Peter, the eldest of the brothers and sisters, and King of Narnia. As I grew up I used to think that the fantasy described in the book was unobtainable, but this is not true. I have discovered from my own experiences that adventure can be found in most things even if it is not as grand as Lewis portrays it. Specifically in regards to my faith life, I have realized that it is a journey that is filled with adventure and one that is worth more treasure than gold.
