Jake Andrich- "The Appalachian Trail" (outside reading #1)

Many people have hiked the Appalachian Trail for many years.  Most people who choose to do it, normally do a thru-hike, meaning they hike the entire trail which is 2,180 miles long.  The trail starts all the way at the bottom of the United States in Georgia and goes all the way to the top of the country in Maine.  To hike the entire trail, it takes people several months to complete.  If I were to ever hike the Appalachian Trail, I would definitely do a thru-hike just for the fun and to get the feeling of accomplishment at the end.
