When we did class at the Nolan Trail,
our first stop was at the river. We
stood there looking out at the water, the sun was peeking through the clouds,
which looked like cotton, there were ripples in the water, it was low
tide. Where the water reached the shore
there were small trees that had fallen over, some even half in the water. We were standing at the spillway and could
hear the water. There was a big bridge
over the river off to our left and a road behind us, cars were passing
frequently. To our right was a big pine
tree, it was dead but had pine cones hanging from it. There was so much of God’s creation to take
in. Most people just drive by it every
day and don’t take the time to stop and take in all there is to see and
experience.
