As a class we started walking the Nolan
Trail, we passed poke berries, magnolia trees, there was a statue on the left up
on a hill overlooking the river, as we continued we saw sassafras as a black
fence, there was green briar and purple berries, the trail was a dirt path at
one part, we quickly saw a bunny before it jumped back in the bush and hid from
us, we saw Japanese stilt grass, we came upon a wooden bridge with a lake on
the right and the lake went out as far as we could see, we saw a bird on the
lake, there was a dead cedar tree at the bridge. We saw a few spiders and little bugs. Different trees had different sized leaves
making them all unique. Most people do
not take the time to go and look at all nature has to offer but going out on
the trail makes you realize there is so much out there and we overlook it all.
