Collin Wilber - Landscapes of Sacred #2

Ortega y Gasset states that "Tell me the landscape in which you live and I will tell you who you are." I highly disagree with this statement. There may be characteristics that are common with people from similar landscapes. However you cannot look at the place in which someone lives and tell them who they are. You couldn't look at my house and tell me you know who I am. You couldn't even look at my room and begin to tell me anything about my life or the person that I am. Where a person is from doesn't tell you who they are.
