Drew Carpenter - Personal Experience 2
My family has always been into adventuring and exploring the outdoors. My father, brother and I frequently go on camping trips and day hikes to areas around Charlottesville. One trip we took every year, until my brother left for college, was a camping trip to Lake Moomaw. Back in the woods behind the lake, we set up camp and stayed for a weekend full of fishing and hiking. I will always remember this area because of the bonds I formed over the years with both my brother and father. Despite not finding the spiritual side in this area, it was a great time with my family and I will always remember the memories I have gained.
