Drew Carpenter - Personal Experience 3

Behind my house near the Rivanna river is a small opening of land that I have frequented ever since I was allowed to explore. The river runs by and the faint sound of golf balls being hit can be heard from the nearby gold course. For me, this area has been one of the most sacred places I have ever found. I usually visit this area when I am stressed, angry or sad. Once I spend time in this area, I leave feeling rested and energized. It is one of the only places I can feel God's presence and will always be a reminder to me of the glory of God.
