Drew Carpenter - Personal Experience 4
Last summer I visited Nicaragua, one of the poorest countries in the world. In my time there, I hiked to an area the locals call, "The Labyrinth." The Labyrinth is a circular maze with a large wooden cross in the center. We as a group had the opportunity to go and experience for ourselves the magic that was hidden in this maze. This was the second time in my life I reaffirmed my faith in God. As I walked through the labyrinth, I was amazed by the beauty and liminality the air held. When I arrived at the center, I noticed the cross glowing and felt the power that is God. I will never forget this sacred place and hope to visit again.
