I've never once in my life thought of my self as religious, even when i was younger and went to church every Sunday I still never believed. I've slowly come to the realization in the my life that I will never believe in a greater power; it's just not in the cards for me.
Sometimes when I'm alone in nature I try to pray and ask if I can be like many other people and just accept God and believe but I just never can.
I feel like my life would be a lot easier if I just believed in God. The weight of the world could be lifted off my shoulders but I think I will have to carry the worlds struggles on my shoulders forever.
