Harley Guenther- nature #2

As I walked along the Nolan Trail, I notice the walkway or path was formed from crushed oyster shells. Layering the oyster shells were several hundred decaying leaves that have chosen their final resting place to be the forest floor. I reach down next to me and stroke the soft, fuzzy pussy willow that grows next to the trail. As I walk around the tiny bend in the path, I am confronted with the sight of the harsh lavender color of the blooming flowers in the wild gardens that make their permanent residence there. I walk farther, towards the parking lot and glace at a chain dividing the two scenes, it was extremely sturdy and looked as if it was there to defend its country. Next to the parking lot was a lake the extended on under a bridge. The water in the lake looked undisturbed and tranquil.
